This Privacy Policy explains how Lightspark Games LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use Bite - Fantasy Sports and related services collectively, the “Service.”

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to information we collect through the Service, including our website, mobile applications, customer support communications, account sign-in features, fantasy matchup features, live stat features, and related interactions.

Depending on how you use the Service, we may collect the following categories of information:

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • email address, phone number, or other account contact information;

  • account preferences and settings;

  • sign-in information you provide or authorize through supported login methods, including Apple Sign-In, phone number sign-in, or other authentication options we make available;

  • messages sent to us or through support channels;

  • User Content, including uploaded images, GIFs, text, captions, fantasy matchup content, customized player cards, reactions, and other content you create, save, or share through the Service.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • device information, operating system, browser type, app version, identifiers, and language settings;

  • IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and time zone;

  • usage information, such as pages viewed, screens visited, features used, taps/clicks, session length, crash reports, diagnostics, and referring URLs;

  • fantasy matchup activity, such as matchups viewed, players followed, teams followed, matchup selections, projected fantasy point views, live stat views, alerts, and app interactions;

  • cookie, SDK, analytics, push notification, and similar technology data.

C. Information From Third Parties

  • data from authentication providers if you use Apple Sign-In, phone number sign-in, or other supported login methods;

  • app store or platform providers;

  • analytics, fraud prevention, attribution, hosting, and cloud service partners;

  • sports data, fantasy scoring, statistics, schedule, team, player, or content providers;

  • customer support, security, and infrastructure providers.

If you use Apple Sign-In, Apple may provide us with information associated with your Apple account depending on your Apple settings, such as your name, email address, private relay email address, or authentication identifier. If you use phone number sign-in, we may collect and process your phone number for authentication, account access, fraud prevention, and security purposes.

3. How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Service;

  • create, authenticate, and manage your account;

  • support Apple Sign-In, phone number sign-in, and other login methods;

  • display fantasy matchups, projected fantasy points, live player stats, scores, rankings, matchup results, alerts, and related app features;

  • personalize content, matchup recommendations, player/team preferences, notifications, and user experience;

  • enable image/GIF uploads, player card creation, matchup content, and sharing features;

  • send transactional, administrative, security, account, and support communications;

  • send push notifications or alerts if you enable them;

  • analyze usage, troubleshoot, debug, test, and secure the Service;

  • detect, investigate, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, infringement, security incidents, unauthorized access, or violations of our Terms;

  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our rights.

If you are in a jurisdiction that requires a legal basis for processing, we may process personal information based on:

  • performance of a contract with you;

  • our legitimate interests in operating, securing, personalizing, and improving the Service;

We do not sell personal information in exchange for money. If we use advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, analytics, attribution, or data-sharing practices that certain laws classify as a “sale” or “sharing,” we will provide any legally required notices and rights.

7. User Content and Sharing Risks

If you upload images, GIFs, captions, matchup content, reactions, or create and share player cards, that content may be visible to the people you share it with inside or outside the Service, depending on your settings and how you use the feature.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and recipients may copy, screenshot, save, forward, or redistribute content.

Please do not upload content that you are not comfortable sharing or that you do not have the legal right to share.

8. Fantasy Matchups, Live Stats, and Sports Data

The Service may use sports data, player data, team data, fantasy scoring information, projected fantasy points, matchup activity, and live statistics to provide fantasy matchups, recommendations, results, rankings, alerts, and related features.

Sports data, fantasy projections, live stats, matchup results, and player information may be delayed, incomplete, inaccurate, corrected, or unavailable. We may process your interactions with these features to operate, personalize, secure, debug, and improve the Service.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to provide the Service, maintain account records, support authentication, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect the Service.

Retention periods may vary by data type, account status, legal requirements, operational needs, and user settings.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for keeping your account, device, sign-in methods, phone number, and authentication credentials secure.

12. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account by contacting us at overlivesports@gmail.com or by using any in-app account deletion feature we make available.

When you request deletion, we will delete or de-identify personal information associated with your account as required by applicable law, subject to information we may retain for legal, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, backup, or legitimate business purposes.

Some content you shared with others or exported outside the Service may remain available to those recipients or platforms.

13. California and Other U.S. State Privacy Disclosures

Residents of certain U.S. states may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws. Depending on whether those laws apply to our business, such rights may include rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of targeted advertising, opt out of sale or sharing, opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects, and appeal our decisions.

We will honor rights requests as required by applicable law.

14. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without legally required consent.

If we learn that we collected personal information from a child under 13 in a manner not permitted by law, we will take steps to delete it. Parents or guardians who believe a child provided us personal information may contact us at overlivesports@gmail.com.

If the Service is age-rated or restricted to users older than 13 in the App Store or other platforms, users must also comply with those platform age requirements.

If you use the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your jurisdiction.

The Service may rely on third-party services for authentication, hosting, analytics, cloud storage, customer support, sports data, push notifications, fraud prevention, crash reporting, app distribution, and other operational purposes.

These third parties may process information according to their own privacy policies and contractual obligations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party websites, apps, or services that are not controlled by us.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice as required by law. The “Effective Date” above indicates when this Privacy Policy became effective.

Your continued use of the Service after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective means you acknowledge the updated Privacy Policy.
